The garden staff will be happy to guide you through the garden by appointment or spontaneously on request at the Alpine Garden. You will receive information about the aims, the organisation and the maintenance of the garden, about the culture of the alpine plants, about life and the environment at 2000 metres above sea level.
What are you particularly interested in?
Climate change, medicinal plants, endangered & protected plants, wild hay, alpine animals, plant families, parasitic plants...
Duration: 1 hour, costs: Swiss francs 80.– per group, max. 12 persons. Larger groups will be split up.
Guided tours on special topics (science, botanical specialities, adaptations of alpine plants etc.) are given by a representative by the University of Bern.
